Did an online deli order for Tex Mex Black Bean wrap at around 9:40AM or so. Pickup time was set for 10:10AM. I arrived to the store at approximately 10:09AM. Went to the food display that they normally place online orders in. Order was not there. I proceeded to stand in line at the deli sandwich making station. There were two people ahead of me one of which a sub sandwich was in the midst of being made for a gentlemen. We need a new pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens out here on Campbellton Fairburn road because it’s evident Publix Pharmacy can not handle the load of prescription requests that it receives on a daily basis. It takes several days to get prescriptions filled here. After several days of checking, the prescription status is still in progress. This is absolutely ridiculous. This place has fallen off tremendously and I’m considering moving all of my and my family members prescriptions.

I’m not sure why there isn’t a better system to let you know if a prescription is available or not. It takes a lot to come to this pharmacy to be told that the prescription isn’t ready and has to be ordered which now you have to wait 2 or more days to receive it. When you call the location the hang up the phone without even answering. With my own eyes I saw that because I called while waiting and watched the person at the register pick up the phone and hang it up. Several times. My family had an unacceptable and deeply distressing experience at this Publix pharmacy. My mother‑in‑law is currently undergoing chemotherapy and was prescribed medication at 5 PM to help her manage a severe cough. When she called the pharmacy, she was immediately dismissed and told the medication would not be ready until tomorrow. She was also told her cough syrup “wasn’t covered by Medicare,” with no effort to explain alternatives or provide any support. You might as well drive 15-20min to any of the other pharmacies because you’re prescriptions is never ready here and lines are always long.
