This is one of the worst Publix pharmacies I have visited. I received extremely poor quality of care here. I waited over a week and called four different times trying to get my scripts successfully transferred and filled at this location. Ultimately, I had limited success AND paid more out of pocket than usual because the associates at this specific location did not know how to efficiently run patient assistance programs. I would like to compliment the Publix Pharmacy at Northhrdge in Sarasota, Fl. I Especially want to recognize the Pharmacy Manager, Heidi Whipkey. She has been my pharmacist for several years now and I wanted to take the time to recognize her kindness, attentiveness and professionalism with every encounter I have had with her. She is such a blessing to Publix and more so to her patients who need a compassionate voice. 5 Stars are not enough!
I lost my plan D coverage due to my own forgetfulness. I had changed my address from PA to FL in May of 2021. I had 60 days to get a new plan D in FL. No problem but when I returned to PA for the Summer of 2021, I totally forgot! I was unaware until December 9, 2021 (take note 2 days after the end of open enrollment period (12.07 .21)) when I was prescribed Eliquis. Wakeup call Jim: Eliquis was $500+ /month from Publix without a drug plan. I ended up getting my Eliquis mail order from Canada for $100/month! For all my other ... read more
