This pharmacy is scary. I get a RX that is a 90 day supply, so 3 bottles. They only put my label on one of the bottles. This is a dangerous practice, and just lazy. They also don't cross check medications. If you want full pharmacy services, don't go here. If you have a good understanding of your meds, they do fine.
Between me and my wife we have about 15 prescriptions we get filled here. I use the online app, I prepay for my prescriptions before I get there and I go through the drive-thru. I never have to sign anything or pay for anything at the drive-thru. It's all been done before I ever left the house. I stay on top of when my prescriptions are going to run out and I let my doctor know when they need to renew. Sometimes I don't have to contact my doctor because Publix has already let them know. I have been using this pharmacy for a couple yrs now and I called about a script that was called in for me, I was told the earliest I could pick up was sat. So I called the Friday before to have them fill it and was told I couldn’t get it until that Monday!!!! I believe they do make their own decisions in there and based on what you are getting are treated the way they see fit! I hate to be told two different things! If 0 stars was an option, I would’ve chose it. This is due to their lack of integrity. I am a cancer patient who is taking very important medications including blood thinners and nausea medication. My doctor sends the prescription with a specific dosage and quantity amount. When the people working in the pharmacy send the prescription through insurance and see that it won’t be covered. They then decide to change the dosage and quantity without notifying the patient or provider to try and figure out a solution ahead of time. ... read more
I never really go out of my way to review anything, but have to give a special shoutout this pharmacy and team! I’ve been a Walgreens customer for years and I had CONSTANT issues with them. After I switched to Publix, I have been thoroughly impressed by the care and quality put in by the entire staff. Thank you so much for all you guys do, your hard work is recognized and appreciated!
