VERY RUDE STAFF! I called the pharmacy to ask a question about transferring my prescription to them. Being that I’m new to the area and they are the closest to me. The associate very RUDELY said did you call to verify we are taking new patients for this medication? I have never in my life heard of such thing. So I was asking her how was i supposed to know that as a new patient. She got agitated and said “I’m transferring you to the pharmacist” and clicked the phone on me. Megan king rocks she handles business as well and super kind and caring she makes the inline panic attacks not so bad!!!!
Ignores HIPPA laws. Pharmacist also challenged Drs scripts...loudly with customers in line. Head pharmacist did so, then next visit the other one , who had been there, parroted again loudly, what she thought then proceeded to inaccurately , well, partially state what one script is for sometimes and proceeded to presume she knew I did not have that ailment! !!This is not about the staff!! Ever since they remodeled and added self-checkout recently, the store has a strange paint/astringent smell that's very strong. It was especially bad yesterday, to the point that I had a headache after leaving and became nauseous by the time I got home. Almost makes me NOT want to go back anytime soon.
This is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. On three separate occasions they were 2-3 days late filling prescriptions called in by urgent care - which should have been same day. I had to call multiple times to check. These were not refills, which I’d expect to take longer. When asked why it was taking so long and I needed to start taking the meds, the pharmacy tech just laughed it off, like it’s normal for them. Never had this issue with any other Publix pharmacy.
