I recently got my prescription filled less than 3 weeks ago I went back to the doctor today. She sent in the same medication with no changes and Publix sent a text message to me stating they would like me to call them. When I did I was told my medication would be $753 I asked multiple question on how this price jump up from 3 weeks ago. The staff was not well informed on how to answer the question and when she tried to ask the manager about it he yelled out have her call her insurance company. Protect your wallet and check your receipts before you pay at this Publix pharmacy location. While this pharmacy may have decent inventory, their billing workflows and staff behavior are dismissive, lazy, and completely disrespectful of customers' time and money. Twice now, I have experienced a blatant lack of care. Pharmacy experience from last Thursday. My nurse sent in a prescription at 6:23 PM. I arrived at the Publix pharmacy around 7:15-7:20. The pharmacist told me, "We just got it put in, about a 20-minute wait." Fair enough -- except instead of filling it, they took 25 minutes just to tell me one of my prescriptions was out of stock until Tuesday. Unfortunate, but likely not their fault.
