Shameful, unethical assistant manager (small dark haired lady at the service desk). I tried to check out with a buy one get one free…that was apparently marked wrong. The assistant manager quickly grabbed her phone and called the department head & had them changing the signs when I got back to the fruit section to prove that it was marked as buy one get one free. I had 3 kids in line with me who were really looking forward to that fruit and had to learn a hard lesson about Publix ethics.
(SSS) Beware, this a Super Spreader Store! Visited early on a Sunday morning to avoid the crowds - the place was packed. Despite having a posted mask & distance policy, there were many uncaring ant-maskers roaming the store. I approached the manager and pointed out several offenders. Bobby stated that, its Publix official corporate policy to, NOT enforce their covid precautions. Profit before People. I left, they stayed. Avoid this store - boycott Publix.
