We have been a long term tenant at Public Storage. Thanks to Ben, the facility is always clean, well lit, and safe. Ben is always welcoming and with a smile.
What they don’t tell you is your storage unit will go up in pricing. Nobody told me when I decided to pick this place as my storage. Nobody picks up the phone, especially when you need help. But they quick to call you about rent.
DO NOT RENT WITH PUBLIC STORAGE! Unless you want to have crazy rent increases or don't mind moving your stuff constantly to keep your rates low! At first, the process and experience were decent. Renting the unit was easy online. The app struggles to work with the elevators, and that can be really inconvenient. When you are tired from moving stuff all day and have to fight the elevator to let you up every time, it's miserable. I understand the security aspect, but it's just annoying.
