Romantic Atmosphere I went to a wedding at this restaurant. Such a beautiful, romantic setting! We loved the screened-porch off the banquet room that overlooks the canal. They were doing construction on the walkway around the building when we were there, but you can tell that in the Spring the outdoor patio will be amazing. Can't wait to go back for dinner with my husband.
Great Find I truly love this restaurant and it is a great find. Upscale dining in a casual atmposhere. The restaurant is in a historic building and the scenery is gorgeous at Christmas. They have private rooms that I have used and a very nice bar and dining area. The staff is very friendly, the food fantastic and creative. There are always specials and make sure you save room for the desserts!
We have been going to the restaurant or for 17 years. We have never had a bad meal here . Exceptional wait staff, buss staff and bartender. Atmosphere is great in the l old Gaylord building along the I and M Canal.
Very nice place on the inside, The food is just ok and way over priced. I got some bad sea food and got sick it could happen i guess anywhere you eat out. My wife liked it alot and did not get sick.The menue is very limited. Go to Naperville way more and better places to eat. IM TheFoodDude and iwont be goining back to this place

Best food around – Great food, Good service in a 150 year old building that is just like walking back in time. What more is there to say.
The Wrong Landing – Went there with a coupon - what a mistake! Steak was tough enough to bend the fork. Restaurant was less than 1/2 full at 7 PM on a Saturday night. The locals have caught on to this place.
