Their staff smokes marijuana next to my window, which is literally meters from a playground. I know they smoke at night, but the image they project as an guards is embarrassing,and the act illegal. Perhaps your manager could designate a smoking area near the hotel for guests and workers. We surely don't want to participate. Please respect the neighborhood, the boundaries are important here. I chose the Public Hotel on Christie Street to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I am so glad I did. It was truly a monumental moment in my life, and this hotel made it unforgettable from start to finish. The rooms are sleek, minimal, and beautiful—everything you need without feeling cluttered. I loved the color scheme, the no-carpet floors, and the overall design. The shower was another highlight for me (great water pressure, which is a must in my book!). hotel de puro diseño donde el huesped importa poco o nada, sin cafetera ni pava electrica en la habitacion, placard infimo, el televisor no funciona desde que llegue despues de reclamarlo en 3 ocasiones. Solicite un adaptador para cargar mi celular y mi notebook...y me dijeron que me lo vendian por 25 dolares. Pague por la habitacion mas de 600 dolares la noche. It's the third time I stayed at the Public hotel and you can feel the standards are just slipping. The room was a tad dirtier than before; the sink was clogged; at check in there was a line because key pads were not working. Free guest morning amenities now had weird limitations (coffee available only 6-8am?? But tea until 10am?). Also the second floor with communal space looked like a train station at 4 pm - dozens of people with laptops, bags, or just randomly hanging out.
