My fiance is in jail and now his public defender wants to talk to me. I know they're busy cause most of the inmates have the same defender, but every time I call, nobody answers or returns my calls. They need to get it together.
I feel my daughter did not get represented properly which ended up with her going to prison on her first offense ever. I wished I would of came up with the money to get a lawyer who would of fought for her and the truth will prevail. Well it didn't and my trust in the system is no longer. These lawyers are overworked and possibly burned out..
I've been trying for weeks to get ahold of someone. They never return your phone calls.
