Being from the other side of the island, we wanted a ranch style venue for our small elopement ceremony and celebration. Puakea ranch was PERFECT. Not only was the elopement pricing affordable, Christie and her staff were so friendly and helped us with questions before we even booked our stay. The property is nothing short of breath taking, there are flower trees everywhere, butterflies, tree swings, and so much more. We’re looking forward to visiting the ranch for future wedding anniversaries to come!!!

This was our third time staying at Puakea Ranch over 10+ years. We have stayed in the Cowboy House, Miles Away, and most recently the James’ Cottage. Simply said, this little piece of paradise is extraordinary . A comfortable, casual, unfussy escape for those looking for a Hawaiian vacation that is serene, natural, unique, and with a dash of Kohala ranching history. We stayed at the ranch for my parents' 50th anniversary. We booked the entire ranch as we had 15 people, aged 5 all the way up to 75. It was absolutely magical and I cannot wait to return. Not only is the scenery beautiful and the history really interesting, Christie and her team are amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
