Former employee This company allows folks to drink and smoke pot while on the job. They gaslight great employees. They have a serious management problem within the engineering department. The owner allowes the old man to do as he wishes... for example I needed new calipers for measurements and was declined the ability to order them... a few days later the old man order 2 flashlights around $300 one for himself and one for another employee neither of the lights are in the shop and neither of the lights was a usefully purchase... read more
Sent in a rotary vane pump for a rebuild in late March. Quote stated a 3 week lead time ARG. We finally received the pump back yesterday (5/17). It works fine; they got the job done, but the customer service and communication was atrocious. Got an email confirming receipt of the pump, with an expected ship date of 4/14. Ok cool. After no confirmation of shipment, I finally got an email on 4/18 only to find out that they had just completed evaluation and there were additional parts and cost needed for the repair. I've done business with PTB regularly for 4 or 5 years now. In my experience, they're competitive for their market, and are a reliable service provider.
