The best fish fry around on Friday night's. The deli has great ready to go hot food. The salad bar is so great. Everyone is always really nice. More exspensive than the big store chains, but not as bad as some of the small town stores I've been in. The meat is beyond delicious!
I LOVE this place! Small town grocery owned and operated by some of the kindest most gracious people I've ever encountered. Selections you won't find too many other places, and if they don't have it, let someone know, they might get it! � � ����

Today, Tom set me up with some marinated flat iron steaks, as well as a preview taste of his London Broil. Great shopping at Ptacek's IGA! Always someone to help and a neighbor to have a chat in an aisle!
I love their little subs, meat sticks, and the warm welcome when you stop by. I am also so impressed with how involved they are in the community. I drove down for the Field of Angels Softball tournament and had hotdogs that were donated to the event. When ever I am in town I will always make a trip to the store!!
