Dr. Smith is amazing! So patient and understanding! I had several overwhelming moments and she patiently walked me through them. She is absolutely wonderful!
They had a comfortable and welcoming environment with friendly staff - however, friendly did not necessarily mean helpful, in this case. I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed, if at all. I felt I was treated quite dismissively and perhaps even noted some stereotypes that were used by the psychologist in regards to the yes or no of diagnostic criteria. Dr. Miller is amazing! So patient and understanding! I had several overwhelming moments and she patiently walked me through them. She split my testing into 2 sessions due to my inability to continue. She is absolutely wonderful!
My experience here has been great. My counselor and as far as I know the rest of the counselors are very experienced. I ran into a problem trying to find a counselor at other places and that was they were all under the age of 30 with no experience. Many would leave and I’d have to switch counselors. Not good. My therapist listens, she is friendly and gives me things to work on. I’ve been going here about a year and it’s great.
I had only ever been quickly written meds by my PCP. Contacted P&FC to get some actual diagnosing done and attempt to begin specialized care. When I called to make an appointment, I was asked repeatedly by the receptionist "if I was sure, it could take awhile to get results" it was very difficult to get past that, as someone with anxiety. 3 appointments later, I filled out a multiple choice test and just got told to continue counseling (which I have been in for years already) P&FC did nothing but waste my time and money
