My visit was all the proof I needed that showed why the Tennessee prescribing Laws continually make it harder and harder for the mentally ill to shed responsibility for the state to make it virtually impossible for all of us to receive the medications which have worked perfectly for decades.
Been his patient for 14 years. He spends a lot of time listening, taking notes, thoroughly explaining distress disorders, medications, alternative options. He truly cares. The only downside is that it takes forever to get any forms completed.
Dr. Smith is a kind, thoughtful, compassionate professional. He is accessible, approachable, down -to- earth and really takes time to listen. And Dr. Smith has a knowledge of medications like none I've ever seen! I would recommend him highly and with no hesitation.
Dr. Smith is the ONLY physician or psychiatrist who has ever spent any length of time with me to obtain a complete history and discuss my problems in order to give me a proper diagnosis and determine what medications will help my condition. He is polite, friendly, caring and has an infectious smile. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Smith and I would never consider seeing another psychiatrist!
Dr.Smith is a pleasure and he was very easy to talk to about my issues. The ladies at the front are always a pleasure also. I would recommend Dr.Smith and actually have to anyone who needs the help!
I contacted his office to ask for a New Patient appointment, & was given an appointment. I was told to make SURE I answered their call to me the day before, to confirm. I promised... The call never came, so I called the office as soon as it opened, the day of my NP appt., & was told he was out of the office, & had been for the last week. I rescheduled it, & put it in my calendar + a notation to call THEM the day before. When I called I learned they had no record of my appointment.
