PLEASE DO NOT see Dr.McGivern. I'm not one to write reviews, but if I can save someone the disrespect, time and stress, it's worth it. I truly have never met a provider as disrespectful, dismissive, and entitled as Dr. McGivern. She acted like she had just met me for the first time at each and every follow up appointment, she didn't even remember the medications that SHE perscribed me, let alone seemingly anything else about myself. She doubled my anti depressant without notice, this triggered my mania. She also over billed my insursnce company for a 10 minute long telehealth appointment which is fraud. I will be reporting this MD as the office does not seem to care about these issues or any type of reasonable solution to her over billing
DO NOT SEE DR. McGivern she was cool at first and acted like she cared about me and what was going on. But after time she started being rude and also misdiagnosing me on meds I NEVER needed to be on. She also threw 90 tabs of Xanax at me for the first 6 months. Something I never asked for Or wanted she just said here this will help with aniexty. My partner has been seeing Dr. McGivern for 5 years, and she has helped him find a medication plan that works well for his mental health. However, she frequently brings up his weight, even after he disclosed a history of disordered eating. At every appointment, she revisits this topic. At his most recent visit, she asked if I, his partner, care about his weight gain. When he said "no," she responded with, "Well, is she bigger?" (Not that it matters, but I am not.)
