I attended a Cognitive Processing Therapy workshop years ago and still incorporate this into my practice regularly. It was an excellent, well‑structured workshop that clearly explained the CPT model and its practical application. Psych PD is an outstanding resource for evidence-based professional development. Their CPT workshop provided me with clinical skills that I was able to immediately utilise in my clinical work. Having also received supervision from Jon Finch, I have found his approach highly commendable - providing me insightful clinical guidance and a supportive approach to complex situations. A huge thank you to Jon for facilitating the Socratic Dialogue workshop recently! It was a hugely helpful synthesis of this approach and how mental health clinicians can use it to augment the work we do.
Fantastic training and lots of practical skills for therapy to apply. I found it definitely will be beneficial for my work and highly recommend to anyone working with people with ptsd.
Learnt quite a bit in the 3 hour workshop. Would have liked to see a few more demonstrations from Jon. Perhaps longer workshop to incorporate this.
