I rarely write reviews and when I do, they are positive. How this review is not! The relationships counsellor is great. However she uses this services for bookings. I was paying full price $195 for 3 sessions. Then received a Medicare rebate for subsequent sessions. I was always on time. My mum had been unwell so I'd been interstate for a few weeks. Ray is absolutely fantastic. I have been seeing him regularly for years. He is caring, attentive, supportive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him, the reception staff are wonderful. I highly recommend this business.
I have experienced significant mental illness and homelessness over a prolonged period of time. I've struggled, still do. But Ray is, and always has been, an incredible psychologist. I am very grateful to have been under his care. Everyone I've ever met at PSI Balance has been absolutely lovely. I can't recommend PSI Balance enough.
Had booked my first appointment and thought it was the week after got charged a no show fee of $100 and and have now cancelled any further appointments with this place. I work casual and if I get called into work last minute I can’t afford to pay $100 if it happens again. Yes I read the fine print and understood the fee but I hadn’t even had one appointment yet!!! Very disappointed they took my money anyway.
Booked in my very disabled and non verbal son as I was informed that the provisional psychologist has had a little experience with this. First session, my her and we spoke about some of the concerns I had for my son. Came in the next week and was it was insinuated by the psychologist that I abuse my family and then asked me if I do, multiple times in multiple ways. Not to mention that she also admitted to talking to the receptionist about my son and his session, which I believe is a massive breach of the confidentiality rule... read more
