I dropped my Sprout off for warranty work. Nice people and fantastic products. Since then I bought a pair of their FR5s stand speakers. They are beautiful sounding and I'm so happy with the purchase.
To me, PS Audio is a bit like the bar on Cheers. They make you feel like everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came. I've had the privilege to run their Amps, Pre-Amps and DAC's in my listening room at home, and it has all sounded warm and magical. I've also downloaded some of their music from Octave Records to enjoy listening to their hi-res renditions. All excellent. If you can make room in the budget, I don't know that you could go wrong with anything from PS Audio.
