Today I spoke with a customer service person named Jen. She was very nice, professional and informative. She got me all the information I needed. Jen is a real asset for the Customer Service Department.
I am a customer of Provident Funding and was disappointed with my recent experience. Late charges were applied even though the issue resulted from a problem with their online portal while updating autopay settings. When I spoke with a representative named Jen, the interaction felt unprofessional, as the focus seemed to be on proving fault rather than helping resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to reconsider recommending Provident Funding to others.
Terrible automated phone system.
Horrible. This place is criminal! They will play games with your escrow account and monthly payment to try and cause late payments or worse. Avoid at all costs! Terrible customer service! Lowered monthly payment for over a year and even returned money to me for escrow overage now a year later they raise monthly payment by $350 a month. Math experts do not work here. This must be intentional mistake designed to incur late fees or even put loan in default. What kind of company makes this mistake? Criminals!!
