The night doctor was excellent. Then came day shift. Patient was discharged with a history of sepsis on 7/7, WITH POSITIVE CULTURE, reoccuring fever, and an elevated WBC blood count of over 14k. Told by the doctor during discharge that “cancer likely causes reoccurring fevers here and in Mexico it’s usually from bacterial infections. It’s demographic”. Everyone was SUPER nice and friendly they helped out a lot.
This place is a joke. Got here at 11:30pm. It is now 7:00am and not only have we not been seen. The nursing staff has ignored us all together. No updates as to what is happening. The nurses are rude and do not seem to even like being here. It is also filthy. The house keepers do not wipe anything down. They have not been trained at all. I give 2 Stars. One for a transporter that helped me navigate. And One for Dr. Omar Husein who was awesome. If they had a category for individuals they would each get 4 Stars. But the facilitiy itself is filthy except for the Children's wing. This Hospital is in need of care itself. It truly needs an update and more room to accommodate people. More bathrooms in the wait area and restructure of the ER waiting area to assist the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff.
