I lived there from 2019 to 2025. It wasn't bad, good location, apartments were really spacious. The maintenance guys - rockstars. They fixed stuff super fast. Sure, it's a bit old compared to the newer places and the amenities are just okay. Gym is a joke, but the pool area is awesome and cozy. My neighbors were amazing, but that's more about luck. Security-wise, car breakins, sketchy from time to time. But it's the price you pay for great location on the major intersection in South Charlotte.
As a twenty-six-year resident of Providence Park, the complex has been a happy home and haven, especially now that I have entered the senior citizen years. Though I was born in Monroe, my family has lived on or near Providence Road for nearly 250 years. My almost four years at Providence Park Apts was absolutely wonderful. Large beautiful apartments. It felt like being in an actual house. Large living room, more than enough closet space, very spacious bathrooms. And much more!I loved being there! I felt safe, great maintenance workers and an absolutely wonderful office staff. You will not find a better place to live. The gym, pool, lounge, grills... you've got it made! Go see for yourself!
Absolutely Terrible Apartment Complex – Stay Away I’ve lived in many apartment complexes before, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. The amenities listed on their website are completely misleading. It’s all just a pretty picture with nothing behind it. The gym is tiny and half the equipment is either broken or unusable. The outdoor grill is frequently out of order. The kids’ playground is tiny, exposed to the scorching sun, and — unbelievably — placed right next to the dumpster, where the smell is unbearable. At first glance, this residential complex makes a good impression: beautiful photos, promises of comfort, amenities for every taste. But as soon as the contract is signed, a completely different story begins. The fitness room is a formality.
