after 20 years, I'm leaving. they insist on unnecessary invasive procedures for minor cysts. There was no suggestion that we just re-check in a couple of months just a complete (expensive!) biopsy which, as expected, revealed nothing.
Impossible to schedule an appointment. I have talked to a different rep each time and they all have told me different things, from I need to deliver my records in person to my doctor can fax them to I need another type of referral. My doctor has written several referrals because they claim to not have received the previous ones. I have a PPO so I don’t even understand why this is necessary. I use to love the Margie Peterson Breast Center. There service was off the charts from setting up up an appointment to getting a mammogram I am now on my 9th call trying to get the mammogram order from my Obgyn's office to the Margie Peterson Breast Center. The customer service center went from great to very poor. My doctors office has sent the referral over 4 times. If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE. I was referred to Providence/Margie Peterson Breast Center by my primary for a routine screening. Since it was my first time at this facility, Providence explained to me that they needed my prior mammo/ultrasounds to do a comparison. I signed documents with my prior facility to send the records over weeks prior to my appointment. Days before my appointment, I left a message to confirm that they received the records. What a great experience at this center! I was here recently for the regular bone density scan.I was able to pre-register ahead of the appointment. Being able to register ahead of time is such a good idea & a rral time saver. The employees at the front desk were super helpful & pleasant. Dorithy, the tech that did the bone density scan, was very professional & informative. I waited for a very short period of time for the appointment. The lobby is kept super clean & welcoming.
