Not sure why the reviews are so bad. I haven’t read them. I had a colonoscopy today. Wayyyyyyy easier and faster than I expected. It actually was almost fun. Warm blankets, cheerful nurses, and a quick nap in the middle of the day. It is 2 o clock. Left my house in Spokane at about 11 and headed out to the valley. In and out! Thank you Dr Liu, Mr. Anesthesiologist, and nurses Heather and Abby ❤️. And the nice receptionists as well. So grateful to everyone who helped.
Do not make the mistake of trying to get treatment here! I got a referral in January 2025 but they didn't contact me and you can't get ahold of them. They don't answer the phone and always seem to be "experiencing a non-emergency event" and can't answer. When someone finally did return my call, they said they'll call back to schedule me for the procedure, but never did. It's now 4 MONTHS LATER and they still won't answer the phone or return my call.
They called and cancelled my husband's surgery he's been waiting for months for hours in advance because they say their computers are down. He has almost died repeatedly, and you cant put forth the effort to fix your stuff on a Monday morning to treat patients? If you have any choice, use a different clinic.
Took them six months to bill me $670 for a new patient office visit. Thank god I have insurance. The real kicker is that I never even received the medication that was supposed to have been sent in after my visit. The actual provider seemed competent and thorough, but $670 is a steep price to pay for the rest of the office's dysfunction.
I contacted Providence Gastroenterology in March. I was told to get a referral from my doctor. I had the referral sent to them. I called to confirm the referral. I was told they would contact me after the doctor looked at my history. Now at the end of May I am told they will not preform the colonoscopy because I have been to another provider in the past. I wait for 3 months for nothing. I hope you have a better experience than I had.
