I was to have knee replacement at maryview. I was in the preop holding area I had my nerve block all my medications for surgery. Dr Marlowe comes in and says are you ready for surgery. I said yes my surgery was schedule for 10am. At 11:30 he comes in and said 5 surgical trays were contaminated .therefore I could not have surgery. The place is very dangerous and unsafe.I feel its very dirty. Consider going elsewhere for treatment. Dr Marlowe in dangerous and unreliable
I had a 5-way bypass in 2005. They were good for 12 years. It's been 20 and all is good. Doctor used both veins and arteries. Thank you. Officially. Well done. Sir.. R. HAMRICK
Catherine Edwards is the most knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring PCM I have ever had. I would recommend her as a primary care for anybody. Being 100% disabled military itis not easy to find good medical care. She has helped me find the care that I need, really listens when you go in, and never puts herself above anybody. Her staff is also amazing Nancy her nurse is very knowledgeable, and friendly.
They are by far the worst Home Care Agency I have ever experienced. They are constantly under staffed, use inexperienced caregivers, don't communicate with one another and lie about everything. When I first started on their services, they informed me I could not have shower aides for the first two weeks of my care-- BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY. When it comes to Breast Centers (and I have been to many over the years), Jefferson is by far the best. The best for performing a Mammogram. They know how to give a Mammogram with little to no pain. Repeat visits are also not the norm. I don't care what the place looks like, I don't want the pain and I don't want the repeat visit because the tech couldn't get the right pic the first time. Jefferson, thank you for all that you do and see you next year.
It isn't just this hospital and it won't be the last hospital. I am a patient at Mt Carmel. Not by choice that's what the insurance covers at 100 %. I normally love Ohio Health the staff the communication it all goes so well. I had my son there 12 years ago. Way better experience than I had at Mt Carmel having my daughter in 2010. In Dec 2024 my pcp through Mt Carmel noted that my thyroid was 4.7 cm and sent me for thyroid testing. I was prescribed a GLP-1 on 8/31/25. A few days later I got a call from the office advising that the necessary prior authorization could take up to 10 days. I contacted the insurance myself after over a month of waiting and found that they had not received any request from the doctor's office. Called Inova on 9/9/25 to inquire about the inaction of the PA team. I was put on hold while someone checked into it. Very unprofessional doctor. They never answer their phone. Doctor is not caring at all. They over charge your insurance company and only care for their money. Stay away from that office and doctor!
This is regarding the Hollywood Presbyterian Pharmacy staff. Their customer service is sucks. They do not know how to respect people. Staff needs to show to the customer they should have compassion and when the doctor call for refill, they need to listen and not to tell the MD, your patient can get the medicine over the counter. It seems the staff came from ghetto who do not knows the respect and good customer service with their customer.
