Coming from someone who was admitted to this facility three separate times during my adolescence, I want to shed a positive light on my experience. As a deeply suicidal teenager, being sent to a psychiatric unit was genuinely my worst nightmare. I anticipated abusive treatment and a hostile environment, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. idk wassup with these reviews but my stay was kinda fire ngl met amazing people and some of the staff were literal angels if i could go back rn i would i miss it a lot
This clinic is awful. The so called "therapist" lie and manipulate. They do not have an ounce of compassion for their patients or their families. They treat the children like inmates and don't actually listen to what they have to say. This program should be shut down. Go anywhere but here if you are looking for help for your child. They will come out worse off than when they went in.
I was at CAPU for drug abuse and they helped me more than anyone else has helped me the staff were great super kind and very friendly they had great activities to keep us busy and active with the other people there we would watch movies before bed together and they gave you the choice to do the activities or not do the activities I had some great men and women nurses there they would clean are clothes for us and they handled most are stuff with care and personally If I had to go back I wouldn't mind it I learned lots of cool... read more
