I left a message with Dr. Thies for assistance for my severe Covid symptoms. My message was never returned. 5 hours later I called back and spoke to his assistant Andy, who asked me if I was 'sick, sick'. That must be her professional way of reviewing my health. Needless to say, I can get better service from Urgent Care, and I am going to begin using a different Primary Care Physician. I would rather drive to a different city than receive the type of service I get at Dr. Thies' office.
Dr. Thies always takes his time to explain things and listen to his patients. His nurse, Andie is great. She always remembers who I am when I call to get information about me or my dad. Ms. Sandy is also a wonderful PA. Very sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Thanks to all the staff as well who are always kind. Thank you! ??
This was only my second visit to see Dr. Thies and we will not be back. He seemed as if we were just making up a symptom that my husband had. He acted irritated when we werent interested in getting the Covid shot and also irritated when we didn’t want to do a sleep apnea test! I guess it’s because he makes money that way so when we didn’t want to do that he didn’t want to give us any helpful information. Dr. Thies is extremely knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. He is patient and takes his time to hear your concerns to provide the best medical care possible. I will rate him as one of the best doctors I have seen. Very easy to obtain an appointment with him and scheduling staff is super nice and helpful. Do check if you are on Aetna. Dr. Thies really cares about his patients and his staff is very responsive when I call for follow up information.
