Excellent doctor! He has performed torn meniscus surgeries on both my knees, with the first surgery being over a decade ago. Even after all these years, the first knee he performed on feels in great condition with minimal scarring. I am currently now recovering from the most recent surgery. He follows up with his patients during post-op and has a lot of experience! I’m very happy with Dr. Mark Provenzano and always recommend him as a trusted orthopedic doctor.
Dr. Provenzano never took the time to explain my injury to me - how it happened, why it happened or even take the time to discuss next steps. He talks REALLY fast and jumps from patient to patient faster than I have ever seen a doctor. He makes rushed decisions and did not provide the right diagnosis of my injury. His nurse’s assistant is NOT friendly either. I learned more about my injury and prognosis in one visit with another doctor vs 5 visits with Dr. P. I would not recommend him.
I need to make an appointment for a cortisone shot for my elbow. I am an old patient of Dr Provenzano’s . Rick Renaudin
I had rotator cuff surgery on May 17 2018 and my experience and results have been fantastic. I’m in need of surgery on my opposite shoulder which I will have December 2018. I have no hesitations in having this done. I know it will be successful. I’m very greatful for his expertise.
One of the finest knee specialist I have ever encountered. Candidly discusses all aspects of the patient's condition, prognosis and treatment options. He sees surgery as the last resort and has a gifted PT staff to help his patients avoid surgery as well as return to normal activities quickly after surgery. Have recommended him to many over the years!
Used Dr. Provenzano in my early running years. About 10 years ago, I severely tore my rotator cuff, tore tendons in my wrist, and broke my right arm . He was not on my insurance at that time. I opted out of surgery because I could do most everything I wanted. In April and May of 2016, I re-aggravated the injury. It was different this time. Dr. Provenzano was on my insurance so I went to him. He fixed me. 3 bone spurs and an anchor. Flexibility is great, still working on strength.
Orthoscopic knee surgery in April 2016. Nine months later, my knee is now no better and probably worse than it was prior to the surgery. Spent a couple of thousand dollars out of my pocket plus whatever my insurance paid and all I have to show for it is visible swelling and pain of the knee that wasn't there before the surgery plus the same pain I had prior to the surgery. He seems like a nice guy and good bedside manner, but the whole ordeal was very very disappointing.
