Proulx, Joseph's son, worked in the family business for his father and continued the family heritage in the heating business. He ultimately carried on the Proulx name in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. In 1985, Maurice established a foothold in Newmarket, New Hampshire. I've been with this Company for over 35 years, first with Bourque oil and now Proulx. First their repair guys are great and very timely. I cannot afford to pay for all my oil ($ 5.26/gallon and another $.255 downsize protection) at once, so I looked elsewhere and received a 6-month payment plan. Please consider your options prior to using Proulx and go with anyone that is not Proulx. I had automatic service with them and they let me run out of gas and told me it was my fault that I did not check the tank. I have since moved from this location and had renters. After the renters moved out (they filled the tank before they left), there was no one living in the residence.
