We purchased a used boat and bought the extended warranty offered by the seller, it was unfortunately Protective Asset Protection. We had the boat for about 3 years and decided to get rid of it, then started the process of getting a refund for the warranty since it wasn't transferrable. Purchased warranty with this company for $4000 when we bought our truck. After realizing it wasn't for us, we tried to cancel the policy and they pointed the finger back at the dealer whom sold it to us saying it was not submitted correctly. After discussing with the Dealer and verifying all documentation was submitted correctly, they still denied the policy existence. They keep saying that my documents are incomplete no matter how many times I submitted them. I called back they say they have every document then next week they don’t have it. It’s been over a year and they haven’t paid their part
Common theme, customer service sucks, deceptive practices on how they handle claims. Tell you to submit stuff and then never respond. Get lied to repeatedly when you follow up. Never hear back from.
Can I give them negative stars? Absolutely disgusting company to deal with. I have been fighting with them since May to get money back for a car repair I had made during an emergency and here we are almost to September and I still have not gotten my money.
