Don’t let the reviews be the factor if you use this company. I purchased an extended warranty for my new (to me) truck. After a month I took it on a few hour drive. The transmission started acting up. The process was easy and they covered to replace an almost 10k transmission job which under the warranty. Great experience and 100% recommend this company. Thank you for a great experience!
If I could give no stars I would. Worst experience with insurance. Complete waste of money. Do NOT waste your money or time with them. The most useless purchase I’ve ever made. Communication is terrible. They are a complete scam. Will leave you indeed still owing money on your loan.
The customer service of your after hours call representatives needs a lot of work. I just needed information.. she was extremely aggressive and rude, cutting me off every time I started to ask a question. I get that answering phones isn't fun, but I was very respectful and polite in my inquiry.. so to me met with such impatience and frustration was extremely unnecessary.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this GAP insurance company. The reason I purchased GAP coverage was for peace of mind in the event my vehicle was totaled. Unfortunately, after my vehicle was totaled, I was surprised to find that the benefit I received was only a little over $1,000, leaving me with approximately $5,000 still owed. This company likes to talk a big game about what they cover and how great of a product they are but in actuality they love to hide behind semantics and legalese nonsense. My contract specifically covers replacement of an EGR valve within the engine/emissions system but because the mechanical failure of the valve was caused by carbon/soot buildup associated with combustion (you know, because it's part of a combustion engine) and not simply a straight up electrical/mechanical issue, they denied my claim.
