When i bought my 2021 Toyota Supra i also purchased this service contract for piece of mind. Within 2 months of ownership i had the car dropped off at Toyota for a issue. I was still covered under Toyotas factory powertrain warranty but was told sensors dont fall under that and i would have to pay for them. Wish I could give a zero. I bought a vehicle that came with a lifetime powertrain warranty. I have had the run around for 2 weeks now about not having a cabin air filter replaced to warrant my engine. Worst experience I have ever had with a warranty company. Every-time I have called I got a new person who made me wait for them to review and give me different information than the previous person. When I purchased my vehicle in 2012, it came with a lifetime power train warranty from Protective Asset Warranty company. In the last 5 years, I had two claims. Both claims involved bringing my vehicle to shops and they had to deal with Protective that took up to two weeks to get approval from their teams. Most recently, my car broke down on vacation. It's tough getting a refund once a contract is bought.
I purchased a 3 year or 50 K mileage contract for a used Suburu Legacy purchased from Sierra Auto sales in Auburn who use this this service. The price was $1540.00 for the coverage. Todate, I have paid out of pocket for a engine gasket ( $3K) not covered because seals and gaskets are an additional option not provided to me as an option. I now have a $900 repair for a steering wheel pump ( $900) which is not covered. So beware of this company if it's recommended to you at the used car lot.
