Protection-one (now ADT but still completely separate???) will never update the equipment and if something breaks or malfunctions, they don't ever seem have replacements in stock nor available. This is where they'll tell you that your only option is to get a completely new system that starts at over $1000.00 for their most basic no frills system (panel, 1 door sensor, 1 motion sensor, & 2 smoke/heat detectors). I have never been more unsatisfied with this company that I have been doing business with for over 17yrs until the last 5months with there billing, and to try to get answers about it is even worse, trying to have me pay 2months at a time, I never heard of that, last month on the phone for over a hr then got hung up on , I have never missed paying my bill and I'm not about to pay 2months at a time lately I am very disappointed in this company and I have been a very loyal customer like I said for 17yrs, I will be looking elsew... read more
Their service is horrible! We have never had such an insulting experience with any person, lost count the number of times he said "you're wrong." Zach apparently doesn't even know he works for a third-party vendor, he repeatedly said he worked for ADT and didn't know the phone number to his boss. Run, run as fast as you can away from these folks!
Worst service ever. Got an estimate for a new system, approved the estimate and then had to chase down the representative to get an appointment to arrange for installation. Unreal.
Do not get involved with this company! They lie and say anything to get you trapped in a contact. I wish I did more research.
