I got the system and was really happy to get ADT, Kyle came to my home and sold me the system, Well I asked if there was a cancellation fee he said no BUT When he handed me the table to initial for agreement and such he he said just Initial here.. and here changed pages and initial here.. one was the cancellation clause i trusted him so didn't read it just signed.. BUT now my system goes down about every couple of months (The big one over Christmas) and i want to cancel as it doesn't work at my home and i am tired of calling... read more

OMG, This guy couldn't understand me, I couldn't understand him, I asked where he was and he said something but did say not in the USA. I asked what he knew about my setup in Topeka KS then and he replied we are trained in assistance. I said so you know how my home was set up and I've been with this company for 30 years. ohhhh yeaassshhh. I don't think so!
Very quick to fix problems, always available by phone.
If you're thinking about getting a security system, forget about Protection One/ADT! Their customer service/technical support is non-existent. During a recent power outage, my security panel alarmed and tech support could not help me shut it off.
