Had service for 3 years (only because that's the length of the contract you have to sign). Had no problems with my security system, but incurred two price raises during that time (not like you can do anything about it). If you are considering ADT you need to really weigh the 3-year contract terms. Also know that if you want to sign up, they can make that happen in 2 minutes via one phone call, but if you want to cancel or have issues it will take multiple phone calls and well over an hour to do anything at all. Please make sure you READ the ADT Contract and understand what you are getting yourself into. If you sign up and then later decide you need to cancel, you will be in a world of financial hurt. If you cancel, this is what will happen to you: 1. You will need to pay off your equipment in full, if there is a balance 2. You will need to payoff the remaining period left on your contract. Once you're done and decide to switch companies ( raising prices) they try to say your in another contract and charge you a ton of money. Customer service is very rude.
The technician (Joshua) was very polite, hard working, explain us to the dot everything, took his time to explain and demonstrate the system so we can know everything about that system and how it works, went over and explained everything on the contract, explained what do we go from there. was open to questions and answers, did not get bother with the million questions asked. If we in the future will have a problem with the system I would love to have him as a technician.
Our service was great. They were right on time. They advised us on what they would suggest. The only thing was/is that they promised us 2 key fobs and we have not yet received them. If we can get the key fobs we were promised, I'd give them %100.
