ADT is terrible! The actual systems are great and the responsiveness is excellent when the alarm is going off. HOWEVER, their customer service is absolutely awful. I called May 28th to have my services at one property cancelled and moved to another property. Now we’re almost at the end of July and not only is my account still active at my old property (which I no longer own) but there’s nothing in the system for my new address apparently. ADT is an absolute scam. Their customer service is a joke. From day 1, they kept sending a technician to install floodlights with cameras and kept saying they can't do it because it's 30 ft high and that needs an electrician. And Everytime they say they'll send an electrician they end up sending a useless technician. Then when we call them to get issues resolved with the cameras they schedule "virtual" visits... I will no longer stay with ADT after the terrible experience I had with their customer support. I have a small business in Raleigh, NC and the ADT motion sensor ran out of battery. I spoke with them on the phone and they sent me a new battery but I had no idea how to install it and the so-called instructions they provided me had everything but instructions on how to replace the batteries. I called ADT technical support and made me have to go back and forth with a ladder just to end up installing the battery in the wrong dete... read more
The technician that came out did his best to resolve my issue but it ended up not being an ADT issue.
We just moved into our house and had one of your people come here tonight about a credit with ADT for a security system. I believe his name was Matt and he said he worked out of a Raleigh location, but there are two so I’ll leave a review on both. This man’s energy and all around vibe was phenomenal. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into his job but puts EXTRA effort to make it enjoyable for his customers! Great personality and great customer service!
