Ben and the team at Protec saved our family road trip. We broke down near Taree late in the afternoon with a 1 and 4 year old on board, and no other mechanic in town would fit us in, not even the next day. Protec let us come in at 5pm with a tow truck, stayed open late to diagnose the issues, offered to drive us to a motel, and had the car repaired and tested by 11am the next morning, all at a very fair price. Exceptional and helpful
I recently took my car in after self diagnosing that I had a rear axle leaking and didn't have to time to fix it so after a recommendation I booked it in at Protec telling them the issue and asking them to fix it. It's only a 2.5 hour job with $200 in cost of parts if I were to do it so I thought I'd just book it in I got charged $1310 for the job They charged more than double the price of parts and oil that I can get for retail price and they get it for trade price which is even cheaper.
