Protax dropped the ball on my appeal, failing to respond to correspondence from the county. I was forced to take over my own case. I communicated this failure to them several times, and they didn't respond. They did, however, proceed to send me bills for services they failed to render, new contracts to sign, and threats of legal action. Shabby, incompetent business. Stay away.

I signed up protax to fight my taxes. Unknown to me I signed up for 2 years. The first year they saved me money the 2nd year cost me almost as much as I saved. Then the bill came for the 3rd year, then the 4th year. I showed them I did not sign up and they sued me anyway. We went to court only to have them not except the judge, then again the same, they they didnt show up. I thought I was done until a new suit came. It has now been continued until Dec 2018. Take it from someone who works at the tax collector's office pro-tax LLC seems like scammers to me they are offering you a service that is free to you, that you can do yourself. Taxpayers beware, all you need to do is call your local Assessor's office and ask to dispute your taxable value plain and simple please please please if you are going to get in business with pro-tax LLC, call your local Assessor's office before you sign anything with that company because all they're trying to do is save you money so that they can tak... read more
