I’ve got half a mind to sue this place. I went there for snoring therapy, which involves shooting a laser beam down your throat to burn off tissue that, in theory, is supposed to reduce snoring. Not only does it not work, it has made coughing completely unbearable. The laser has burned off the tissue that used to cushion the impact of a cough in my throat. I have been going to this clinic to see Dr. Balageorge since September of 2021. Dr. Balageorge usually runs on time and if not it, has never been more than 10 mins off for myself personally. All of my appointments have been in the afternoons only. He is a great doctor! Whether I was going for injections or surgery...No issues :) His assistant, Melanie, is great and was extremely helpful with me both before and after surgery. His previous assistant, Marilyn, was also great!
called more than half an hour before closing. receptionist picked up, muttered something quietly, then hung up the phone. all further attempts were met with a dial tone, so i can only assume that she disconnected the phone to avoid doing her work. i suspect i know which receptionist this is, as there are a number of other complaints about her on here. but in case i am wrong, i called october 7th 2025 first at 4:20 ish pm. absolutely unprofessional, she should lose her job

I received surgery here a few years ago. Should have went sooner. They got me in within weeks. And years later I am still good. Was a good experience. Before going to Prota I saw the public health care surgeon that told me there was a 6 year wait and even then unless I’m dying it would probably be delayed further. I told him I appreciated his honesty and then he just came out and said we will probably will never do your surgery even though you received the scheduled date.
