I have an incomplete spinal cord injury at L2 resulting in partial paraplegia impacting my left leg. I walk and ride with an AFO. Early in my injury, I was given a pretty basic AFO, which I promptly broke while rehabilitating myself through walking and hiking. An early orthotist I worked with told me I should do less, which was a shitty thing to hear! I am a recent amputee and they are incredibly amazing and patient with me and finally here I am taking my first steps. I would not have been able to without them. Angela and Anna have both helped me so much and I look forward to every appointment with them knowing they’ll fix my issue right away and get me in as soon as possible. :) Amazing!!!!!
I have been a transfemoral amputee for 47 years and have worked with several prosthetists. These are the best. They are very skillful technically, creative, excellent listeners and readily available for adjustments and repairs. They are really nice people and fine professionals.
