For those considering the IR Center for a procedure, Dr. Rachel Piechowiak and the team supporting her were nothing but first rate. From the minute I walked in and getting help with paperwork to pre-procedure, to watching the team prep the room through surgery and discharge - I would place this team at the top of your list when choosing where to have the procedure done. In what is not fun per se, the front desk made me smile and feel comfortable when I walked in and that remained until I was discharged. Bill Swelbar
Had a little issue with finding the suite number, but that was the only problem. Everything else was very good. The staff and doctor were excellent and very professional. My take home instructions were very clear and the doctor and the staff went over them with me, they also gave me contact information if I had any questions or issues after I returned home. Would recommend you anyone.
Overall a very good experience. Polite and always helpful nurses. Clean facility and much went as expected. Suggestions for getting from very goo to great: 1. Nurses should have name tags large enough to read without my glasses so that I can address them by name - more polite on my part. 2. Nurses should write their name on a whiteboard in my waiting/recovery area. I saw this in Lansdowne hospital and loved it. 3. Staff is very professional and friendly. They keep you informed of each step in the process. My procedure by Dr. Piechowiak went very smoothly.
