Extremely appreciative about the overall experience with Dr Rachel Piechowiak and her staff, especially Shantay and Nick. Before and after the PAE procedure, Dr Piechowiak took the time to personally respond to all of my questions via sms. Absolutely impressive!! Only area of improvement needed was because I didn't have insurance at the onset, I felt a bit disrespected and not valued by Christina at the front desk. I have visited both the Leesburg and Reston offices during which Dr. Piechowiak gave me much appreciated relief in both my right and left knees. In addition to her great operating skills, she is assisted by a top rate nursing and tech team who are not only skilled but very personable.
I was treated with the highest respect and the prostate procedure was very professional. Excellent doctors and awesome staff. I feel certain that I will be back to 100% very soon due to the care I received.
For those considering the IR Center for a procedure, Dr. Rachel Piechowiak and the team supporting her were nothing but first rate. From the minute I walked in and getting help with paperwork to pre-procedure, to watching the team prep the room through surgery and discharge - I would place this team at the top of your list when choosing where to have the procedure done. In what is not fun per se, the front desk made me smile and feel comfortable when I walked in and that remained until I was discharged. Bill Swelbar
