Very disappointing experience at Prosperity Bank (2101 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas) on 4/28/2026 around 4:08 PM. I came in with all required documents to open a business account and am already an existing customer. After waiting, the branch manager questioned why I was at this location and implied I was only there to cash a check. We were not allowed to proceed and were told by the Manager" I have the right to deny service to anyone, I make the rules at this location". Rude lady at the bank..
This is my branch of choice. The entire crew is always welcoming and attentive to all my banking needs. I would highly recommend banking with Prosperity.
Useless employees, told me I couldn’t get support on my account until their manager comes back in a week. If you can’t have employees support customers accounts while you’re on vacation that is a failing business.
Do not open an account at Prosperity if you expect to use their debit card for retail purchases. Their fraud department is completely out of control. They routinely block even the smallest purchases. I got stuck in line at an automated car wash because of these overzealous people. Also just rejected a $100 leather strap I was buying for my wristwatch. For my protection??? BS!!! Ridiculous!!!
