I called before coming from Elgin to this branch and k asked “if I can cash a $3000 check as a non-customer” and the lady told me YES through the drive thru. I arrived and was told that a drive thru transaction for cash is only $1,000. NOT OKAY ever because I could have gone to a location that was open. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and the lack of concern for the inconvenience. Only option was “wait until Monday at 9am”
Wasting time
The attention from the tellers and advisors and all the people working there is very polite and helpful. But I don't understand why their debit cards are prepaid type cards which is not accepted in many stores where the normal bank debit cards have no problem. I do digital art and there are websites for crafters and artists where I would like to buy some materials and can't buy because it says they don't accept prepaid cards.
