I have been with Prosperity Bank for 41 years. I have a few accounts with them and I have never had any problems at all.
Be careful they try to hide hidden fees
They do not have the ability to print a new debit card there with your name on it they. Your option is to wait 7 to 10 business days. To get a card with your name on it. You have to pay 15 dollars to get a temp and a card with your name on it. Staff is great but huge inconvenience.
Would actually give a 0 if I could. They hold a federal Social Security check instead of deposite it when it gets there. If you want to get $100.00 advance then you have to give them $55.00 extra for the advance. Social Security sent our check today because of New Years and they won't release it till the 3rd of next month. I believe that's extortion. Calling FDIC AND BETTER BUSINESS and Attorney Genera. Worst banking center I have ever dealt with. I do not recommend this bank to anyone. I was with Wells Fargo for 20 years and made the grave mistake of trying these guys out. The branch manager and the people there have no idea what customer service is. They don't tell you of hidden costs and want to charge you to close your account. This bank is full of thieves!
