RecommendedOh wow! 5 star despite the cigarette smoke smell in the lobby. The newly renovated room was great with all the amenities. No elevator but no problem for the ambulatory. Margaritas was the best food on our trip! Friendliest hotel ever.
Friendly staff, very clean rooms and comfy beds. Will definitely stay again no question, but won't miss out on the hot tub next time......😁
We didn't stay there but had breakfast at Margaritas Restaurant. The breakfast was extremely good and very reasonably priced. We were surprised at how large the inexpensive senior meals were. The displays and "museum" in the lobby were something to behold. Since I'm a collector myself, I was delighted at the wide variety of items.
Cheerfull staff from check in to maintenance to housekeeping! Unexpectedly clean rooms - huge tv and fridge amd microwave.
This place is awesome. I went a couple of years ago staying overnight on a trip and loved it. They have beautiful rooms, a great restaurant, a little casino...they give their guests some gambling coupons and a free drink. Very hospitable. I will never forget it.
I love love love this place! The all pets policy is all pets! They do not discriminate. Dog, cat, llama whatevs! I would recommend this pmace to anyone travel through Ely. Its worth it just to stop and see the vintage motorcycle collection. If I'm ever traveling north through Ely again, Prospectors is where you'll find me
Stayed at the prospector hotel and gambling hall RV park. Nothing fancy about the RV park but, right next to a casino. While the casino is small, the staff is extremely personable and hotel and casino quite clean. Lots of fun deco to look at. Very accommadating. Thank you for a fun time!
It doesn't let me give negative ratings. The "security" what an ever bigger joke, Craig. How can employees call in their spouses after watching machines and tell them to come play it giving them money while on duty. The "slot club" is non-existent. Employees resufe to give you one when their product malfunctions. There is however one nice sweet lady at night time, unsure of the name, but was very helpful.
