Although the store has decent stuff to get and moderately priced, this has the worst ever customer service !! I've been in the US for several years and visited plenty of stores.. None this Bad at customer service. I found that most people only go to this because of the proximity to several apartments.. The guy who works there sucks - doesn't know how to talk, how to treat customers, and has this stupid look on his face all the time. Asian grocery store Prospect Market sells Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi food items and spices. Any spices (powdered or whole), lentils, ready to eat food packets, rice, flour or other ingredients used in south asian cuisine are available here. One can also get fresh fruits and vegetables but they are expensive. You can rent movies too from the vast collection of VHS or DVDs. Like many other stores they accept Visa and Mastercard for a minimum purchase of $10.
Worst store - lot of better alternatives around A Stupid guy works in this store that does NOT know how to treat customers.. 3 of my friends stopped going to this store because of him.

Avoid, there are better alternatives Terrible prices. Good selection. A new store just opened up in Stamford - Jai-Ho instead not really "NJ rates" as they advertise, but a lot lot cheaper than these guys

Nice store Went there today for the first time and liked it much better than Asia Bazaar on Cove Street. They could use a few more vegetables but overall they have good supplies. Most importantly, the place is clean.
horrible overexpensive - curry leaf 2 stems is a dollar? wtf? No respect for customers, the guy there is creepy.
indian grocery prospect market is the #1 indian grocery store in fairfield county. they were little costly couple years back but now they're prices are lot lower or same as the other store.they stuff is never out of date, they have very good customer serivice. to me they are one good clean good little indian grocery alike it should be.
