Wow! We stayed for a long weekend for an early anniversary trip, and it was everything and sooo much more than we could’ve expected and asked for. Jim and T are hands down the best hosts you will find at a bed and breakfast. They are the perfect blend of always available and ready to serve as well as leave you to yourselves to enjoy your stay. Will definitely be back! The whole property is beautiful and the cottages are cozy. A perfect choice for a wedding or romantic weekend away. T and Jim are the best hosts and will accommodate any need. Jim's cooking is amazing - preoare to be pampered. Highly recommend his Inn Keeper's dinner on Saturday nights.
Beautifully maintained rooms and property. T and Jim were extremely friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would change is our 1-night stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely plan to do so next time!
Update on March 28, 2025: We just returned from a glorious 3-night stay at the Prospect Hill Inn. And we are booked for another visit this October! (In case you're wondering, we absolutely love everything about the Inn). Our stay this time was even better if that's possible. T and Jim have continued to make significant and carefully planned investments in room redecorations and repairs and upgrades. Everything about staying at Prospect Hill is perfect for a quick getaway - not too far away yet one feels like much farther away from the hustle and bustle of DC. The owners, Jim and T, certainly go out of their way to make one feel welcome - great hospitality and wonderful food!! And friendly conversation. Recommend highly and hope to be able to return to this unique getaway experience.
