Great dentist
If I could give them a zero. Thats the review, I'll give them. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE AT ALL!!! Very disappointing experience at Prospect Heights Dental. The owner was rude and unprofessional during our visit. The focus quickly shifted to pushing a $3,000 out-of-pocket payment for a filling, which felt excessive and poorly explained. At first I liked it and thought it was cozy but not gonna lie the office looks dingy and not up to tthe sterile standards dentist offices should be. At first the dentist Dr. Platt was nice when I was considering doing my procedure but when I showed disinterest seemed to completely change attitude and be more standoffish and rude. Also literally talked to me for a total of 5-10mins. Most of my time was spent waiting for them to look up costs and literally took one xray. Avoid at all costs! Devin Platt is a horrible dentist. I paid him 6k for an implant. When installing it, he screwed up and lost it. I was sent for an x-ray and it landed in my sinus cavity. I had to have a pricey, painful operation with a lengthly recovery (and of course, no implant.) HE NEVER APOLOGIZED AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK. After extensive pestering for a year, he finally gave me a portion back, but I ended up losing $2,500! He offers free cleanings so that he can sell you on his services. Don't be fooled!
