Toyota Tundra with 29 ft Lance. This is my 3rd hitch. I have had a standard weight distribution hitch with the torsion bars. I tried an Anderson hitch. I had to be careful with speed. Wind was or could be a challenge. A semi coming from behind always was a thrill. The ProPride is amazing. The steering is different and more solid. No sway, feels solid.Install was a two person job, but we got it done. Great instructions and videos. Great customer service with answers and followup. Expensive yes, but would buy again. Install was straight forward with unbelievably detailed instruction booklet. Took it out for a test run the other day and at 65 mph the tractor trailers were going by me and not the slightest bit of movement. This hitch is built like a tank and I can't wait for our first long distance trip with it.

As someone said before "buy your last hitch first". I should've listened. We had a trailer that is stock with very light tongue weight and heavy rear of trailer. Caused a lot of dangerous sway while towing with blue ox sway pro and f350. Couldn't keep trailer under control. Even was told to add about 800-1000lbs of weight to front to counter balance, still didn't work. I adjusted hitch 4 different times to try and get tongue weight heavier on rear of truck.....nothing worked. I came to conclusion the hitch sucked. I talked w... read more

Great product. Recently completed my first trip using the 3P ProPride hitch pulling a 34 foot travel trailer with a Ram 2025 1500 and had no issues. Was able to travel close to the speed limit without any white knuckle driving. Felt safe the entire trip. This trip included high winds and some mountain driving and plenty of semis. Was able to install the hitch myself after watching the installation videos provided by ProPride. Even though this hitch is expensive it is well worth the price!

We've been towing with a ProPride for 3 years, moved from a Crossroads Volante (7,500lbs) to a Brinkley Z Air 310 (14,495lbs) had to convert to the StrapTek. Towed a couple times with an Eas-Lift R3 and it was a nightmare. Finally converted over the ProPride with StrapTek and night and day different. The Brinkley is a very heavy Travel Trailer and ProPride 3P handled it with no issues. Just make sure you tighten the StrapTek's to as tight as you can get them.
