I just installed and test drove the ProPride 3P hitch. The installation was pretty easy but needed some adjustments I didn't see in the instruction manual. I called Sean and he returned my call very quickly and confirmed the installation was correct and would work. The test drive was a complete success, no more sway. I was getting some porpoising but remedied it by adjusting the jacks. All in All a great product and I'm glad I went with ProPride.
I purchased a used ProPride 3p 1400 and needed some parts to restore it to new. The ProPride team treated me like I bought a brand new hitch and were so responsive and helpful. After installing the hitch I immediately felt the difference. No more tractor trailer fly bys giving me white knuckles and now I tow/drive with one finger (ok- one hand). Another benefit is backing up is way more manuverable, almost like a 5th wheel. While I tow a 26 foot trailer with an F250, my camping travel experience is much more enjoyable.
I had all the concerns you hear on line from the neah sayers : price ,weight hooking up,.. This hitch is a game changer, worth every penny, Everything but the stinger stays in the trailer, hookup is easy... it tows like a dream, stable, safe and smooth at all speeds... The PriPride 3P hitch has greatly improved our towing experience. With a friction based anti sway system, passing semi-trucks and crosswinds used to require constant steering correction. The ProPride 3P hitch has greatly reduced the steering input required to keep our truck and travel trailer in the lane and significantly reduced driver stress and fatigue.
This hitch AND the company get 5 STARS for EVERYTHING THEY DO!!! They even protected me against myself. I ordered the hitch before picking up my new camper I'd be pulling, so there was really nothing I could do before getting the trailer ... at the manufacturer, 280 miles away.
