ProPride Hitch Co. Thanks so much. You made our camping experience wonderful. I installed the ProPride Hitch and it worked fantastic. We have a Grand Design 25RL camper pulled by 1500 GMC. We traveled 500 miles with the hitch on our first trip, now we are planning many more and longer trips. The camper traveled wonderfully, no white knuckles with the side winds or when meeting semi trucks. The craftmanship of the product is extremely professional. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Tim
Last year we bought a 36' Rockwood Signature. It came with a Curt weight distribution hitch but towing was a problem for my wife due to back issues. We had a 3500 mile trip planned (Estes, Pikes peak, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, etc.) and she didn't think she could make it. After a lot of research, I bought a B&W Continum hitch, which was an enormous improvement (a really great hitch) and got us through the trip, but it was still difficult on her back at times and the jerking start stop motion was painful. Works great, just wish I bought new instead of used. Had to buy couple parts later to bring it up to condition I wanted. Probably would have been okay. However, no lifetime warranty with used.
Everything you see and hear about Propride Hitch is true!! We bought new 32ft imagine 2022 and originally had traditional weight distribution hitch. 1st trial drive had wind and the trailer was bad swaying and wife so scared wanted to sell brand new trailer. After research found propride and over 4 years wife very happy and loves to travel. We have had 50 mph gusts and felt just like our 40 ft solitude 5th wheel we had 6 years before downsizing to imagine. Just wanted to give you a huge thank you and let you know our trip from Massachusetts to Montana went off with no issues towing-wise! Your hitch performed awesome in the crosswinds we experienced as well as the bad roads! We never once had a sway control issue and are extremely happy with our investment! We seen other trailers that looked like they must have been nervous drivers... but we were very comfortable after we adjusted the tongue weight of the trailer as you suggested.
