Beautiful! Well maintained, clean, well furnished with sitting, sunning areas with choices of coverage, and restroom, shower and changing facility. Concessions are of good quality, variety and price. The setting is lovely with a surround of trees and native plants, without city sounds and streets. Ample, accessible parking. $5 admission!

Would be a nice pool if the lifeguards actually payed attention instead of sitting in a pool flits on the side of the pool, or sitting in lounge chairs laid back not paying attention. Not one life guard actually in the lifeguard chairs paying attention all day.

We visited Prophetstown the last weekend in July and chose to stay at this park, largely due to it having such a fun looking water park with amenities, such as the lazy river. Had we known the lazy river was going to be shut down the entire day, we would probably have chosen another location, as we have teenagers and the pool area seems geared towards younger kids. The lazy river is a big part of the water park, and if you take that away, it makes it a bit boring, even with the water slides. It would have been nice if they c... read more
