My experiences with Property Specialists, Inc over the past two days have been horrifying. My property manager, Melissa Brooks, has shown an egregious lack of communication skills in two incidents in the past month. Subsequently, I phoned to speak with her supervisor. Melinda Jara phoned me back and behaved abominably on the phone, raising her voice and chastising me repeatedly for calling her. PSI is managing properties in Westwood area in Vernon Hills IL. Cristy is their property Manger looking over our account. At first without contacting more than 100 homeowners they changed the outdoor parking signs from "23 hours" to "Guest Parking Spots" and then they started sending parking violation letters and started towing vehicles of only a small group of people.
